Best empanadas I've tried outside of Bolivia and Colombia! I ordered 7 empanadas via WhatsApp and want to say Gustavo was very friendly and professional. They arrived today and we only have one left! Highly recommend you try them out, they are the most authentic in London. I ordered spicy beef, chicken, regular beef, spinach & cheese, and Caprese and all were outstanding in flavor, spicy beef was my favorite ;) Thank you Gustavo for such delicious empanadas!

Honestly, these empanadas have been one of the best and a true marvel outside of Latin America that I have tried. The flavor and different fillings often remind me of my grandmother’s empanadas that I used to have as a child and could never find a place that could compare until now. I have been buying them ever since I first encountered La Criolla in the Richmond Duck Pond Market 2 years ago and highly recommend everyone to try them. There is no other more authentic empanada place in London. Not only are the savory and sweet empanadas a delight but Gustavo is one of the kindest and friendliest persons I know. Personally, my favorites are the Caprese, Chicken, and Dulce de Leche! 😊

Welcome to LA CRIOLLA, a place I built with love and on the believe that everything can be accomplished through hard work and perseverance.   

    Gustavo has been working in catering industry since his 20’s, mainly as a chef in top restaurants in London.

Combining his cooking experience with his South America provenance and Galician roots, in 2016 decide to dive into a whole new experience.
